My road

01

From range kid to national team player

At ten years old I stand on the range of Golf Club St. Leon-Rot for the first time. A few swings after school turn into a club that is still my golfing home today and the hobby quickly becomes serious. Through the junior teams I play my way into the German national squad.

The first big moment comes in England in 2018. At the English Girls’ Open Amateur Championship I win as the first player from outside England. That is when I knew there was more in this game for me. What I did not know then: I would wait eight years for my next individual win.

Six years in Nashville

After school I take the American route: college golf for Vanderbilt University in Nashville. Six years in the black and gold of the Commodores, four-time WGCA All-American, twice First Team All-SEC and alongside it a degree I complete with a Master in Finance.

The years in the US shaped me as a golfer and as a person. With the German team I win bronze at the 2022 Espirito Santo Trophy, the world team championship for amateurs, and gold at the 2024 European Championship. My college farewell comes with the 2024 Dinah Shore Trophy, one of the highest honours in college golf. After that the decision is clear: I am turning professional.

Turning pro, playoffs and a first winning week

The way into professional golf leads through Q-School in Marrakech. In 2025 I play my rookie season on the Ladies European Tour, with a T7 at the Swiss Ladies Open as my best result and plenty of lessons you only learn out on tour.

Then February 2026 arrives. At the SuperSport Ladies Challenge in Humewood I win my first professional title, after a playoff the press later calls a monster playoff, only the second in the tournament’s history since 2014. Eight days later I follow up at the NTT Data Ladies Pro-Am, winning by five. Back-to-back, and I finish the season ranked 2nd in the Sunshine Ladies Tour Order of Merit.

On the LET it has been step by step since: a bogey-free 67 and the final group on Sunday in Mauritius, T5 as my best result so far, plus the home game at the Amundi German Masters in Winsen, where I spent an hour on the range with dozens of girls at Golf like a Girl. Weeks like that remind me why I love this job.

Achievements

Off the course

Golf is my profession and still only one part. My finance degree gave me a second perspective, which you find on my LinkedIn page. On the podcast Back 9 Stories I talk about the topics moving professional golf every two weeks and as a TV pundit I sometimes work the other side of the camera. As an EcoAthlete I work for a future of my outdoor sport.
